She didn't notice him hesitating at the mention of Angels. She herself, being the same creature, found no more attachment to the title of Angel. In fact, there was never a time she was this creature...this was of course a lie, but her memories and distance from God have forced her to believe such a thing. Hundreds of years of memories and reincarnations have left her restless in some manner; in order to rid of such things, she had to deny these memories, see them as nothing more as dreams and fantasies. That includes her time as an Angel.
The boy, who was also a Fallen and a recent one at that, did not strike her as anything but human. She couldn't believe that angelic beings were on Earth. She has been spending essentially many a lifetime to accept such thoughts.
She heard his pencil scratching and creating a representation of she and her garden. Her hands had started to move away any leaves that had fallen that deterred from the aesthetics of the garden while keeping it as natural as possible. She had somehow found a good middle-ground in taming her plants and flowers. Being created to manage the most famous garden of all, however, will give you such talent.
Padmajai smiled as her comrade named Gabriel tapped along to the song, finding it enjoyable to share music. She found great pleasure in giving gifts in any form; which was why she was more than happy to offer him fruit.
"Of course I do!" she said, her voice soft even though a little more excited at the prospect of gift-giving. Not only was it in her nature as an angelic being, but being of Sikh beliefs, she had been raised with the idea of charity being the ultimate showing of love to God. It was the absolute good and she found no greater pleasure than grabbing a wooden bowl from underneath the vines on the right side of the garden and filling it with fruit. She collected plums and apples that hung around daintily as well as a few fruit from the bushes and ground. Eventually, she had a bowl of fruit filled with an assortment of goods.
"Please, help yourself, make it into art, but all I ask is for you to enjoy it. These fruit are grown right in this garden and hopefully are up to par."
